Ooobie on Everything

Take a Walk on the Dark Side

Trump finally has caved to incessant pressure and bile from the left and destructive obstructionism from the GOP nabobs and is moving to the dark side for succor. He wants action and the only group in Congress willing to accommodate him are Democrats. For a price. The price apparently is to do everything the Democrats want, while shafting his voting base. His readiness to accede has earned him high praise from the Trump Haters, who want to see more such suicidal acts from the president, and pure fury from his base. The irony is that the Trump Haters will manage to use Trump’s capitulation against him before all is said and done. (“A man without principles!” and who can object?)

Trump’s latest perfidy is the betrayal on immigration. Who wants to send these wonderful people home? he asks us. My answer is I would, Mr. President. At some point the US has to convey vividly that it will enforce its border by saying no to the legalization of those who have come here illegally. Our government doesn’t know the difference between legal and illegal as far as I can tell. Our failure to articulate that difference has given an opening to groups like La Raza to erase the distinction entirely and assert a right for the illegals to live here, work here and even vote here (and vote they do).

Trump’s deal with Nancy and Chuck was a dirty one. It was done not only out of spite against Ryan and McConnell and all the other GOP elitists, but of course, out of conviction as conveyed to him by Ivanka and Jared. In return he took what the Dems offered, vague promises of support for future border security measures, the same old, same old. And Trump cavalierly tells us that the wall thing — it is nothing but patching up holes in whatever useless contrivances we have erected at present. The other wall thing, the one that actually is built and secures our border, that wall is in the future somewhere and apparently still at the mercy of the Democrats.

Trump seems to believe his own hype that we’d forgive him even if he shot a man while walking down Fifth Avenue. Here’s a news flash: I won’t. And for me his imperious action on DACA and his back-door deals are the equivalent of cold-blooded murder.

Instead of trying to relaunch as a fervent DACA supporter, Trump should be calling out the chest-thumping Latino governments for refusing to welcome home and assist these brilliant, good, talented, persecuted and saintly youths. These “kids,” many of them, are now adults, having been shipped out of Mexico wholesale in an earlier immigration inundation with the encouragement of one corrupt Mexican government or another. Today many have the skills or education that will enable them not only to function, but succeed in their home country. They already speak the lingo, they know the culture, and their presence will bolster Mexico’s middle class as a whole. Mexico could do with a good dose of middle class conscience and work ethic. If I were Trump, I’d offer assistance for the relocation of these people in their home countries, whether Mexico or Peru. I applaud the growing number of “Dreamers” who have come to the same conclusion. Trump should be on this, but his governance so far lacks imagination and direction.

What galls most, of course, is the lack of honor Trump is showing. I’m tired of policy decisions based on his mood or his umbrage level and not on practicalities and realities. I say that even knowing that the GOP Congress deserves the treatment it is getting for being obstructionist and unproductive to an extreme, squandering its few remaining moments of “total power” to do nothing at all. But Trump made promises, not a lot but very specific ones, and on the basis of those promises he won his election. Immigration reform and a wall were one promise, and a  new direction in US foreign policy away from interventionism and regime change and toward constructive cooperation was another.

Instead of mending fences with Russia, Trump now thumbs his nose at the country and its leader. Why? Because each new senseless act to insult Russia or “punish it” gets the anti-Trump maniacs briefly, for one instant, off his back. There seems to be little consideration given to the wider implications of his actions and policies; everything is transitory and reactive. In Syria, after calling off CIA assistance to an assorted group of terrorists, Trump has given his blessings to continued meddling. Having failed to stop the Syrian government, with Russian military assistance, from reasserting control over wider and wider areas of the country, now we are seeking to carve off a piece of the country to create a state of Kurdistan that some, and especially the Turks, see as a threat to their own security.

Meanwhile, over at State, Tillerson is being advised by the same nincompoops who advised Obama. The USG expelled Russian diplomats for alleged intervention in US politics. This led to a retaliatory expulsion of many, many more US diplomats from Russia (and don’t you wonder why we have so many there?). The State Department judged Russia’s action “unwarranted” and tore up the Vienna Diplomatic Convention in response. The FBI used Gestapo tactics against Russian diplomats in San Francisco, where the latter were given just 48 hours to vacate their homes so that they could be searched top to bottom. The Consulate was given similar treatment in the wake of its ordered closure, and the smoke from the chimneys indicated the frenzied destruction of protected diplomatic communications to prevent them from becoming FBI toilet paper. Agents also seized Russian-owned properties used as recreation for their diplomats and staff. This is behavior even the KGB didn’t exhibit in the USSR — they at least had the decency to search our apartments when we were gone, without all the drama and terror. And when the US Embassy once suffered a fire during the Cold War years, the US was very concerned about even Soviet firemen entering the building! Where will it all end?

So there stands Donald Trump, angry at everybody in the whole world and determined to get something done, no matter how traitorous or counterproductive or dangerous it is. He is being guided by people who step by step are teaching him that wrong decisions beget a negative response from the Dark State, and right decisions get praised. Most importantly, by not caring what he gets, he can make deals day and night with the Democrats.

Egad. The Dems really don’t believe in the American Way

still wearing white

still wearing white

Even as I write this, there are frustrated unhappy women on every side, gnashing their teeth and wailing about the defeat of the Wicked Witch or, as she seems to prefer, The Yeti. But defeat isn’t the right word, what these mourners really think is that she wuz robbed. Such horrendous events couldn’t happen in the LaLa Land in which they exist. I guess they never read ancient Greek literature, nor are they on intimate terms with history. But most sane people are getting on with their lives and would appreciate having the noise turned down. They’ve had enough of cry-babies and Hillary suggesting somehow she won but was cheated. No chance. The Left, which is mostly so-called Democrats with a sprinkling of communists and socialists (all the same thing) is not going to allow this horrible democratic system to continue in America if they can help it. If Lena Dunham has to take a poop in front of us every single day she is going to do it just to make your life a misery for not voting for Hillary.

How can it be that those who voted from among the five million illegals allowed, nay invited into California by the Democrats have had their votes in the presidential election stolen by the Electoral College? How can it be that nobody is as mad as the Democrats are that somebody, and who gives a damn who it was, stole all their dirty laundry? What an array of crimes and thuggery and deceit those Podesta emails are. I need to sit down and read through the Wikileaks treasure before they are erased from all existence. From Hillary’s active engagement in decisions to send out people to disrupt Trump rallies, to the Clinton Foundation venality and felonious activity, these emails underlined in red everything we ever thought of the Clinton Clan. Dirty, sneaky, mean and greedy. Therefore, objective number one for the Clinton Society of Anti-Historians is to engage in a little sleight of hand. They want to focus your attention not on the right hand (crimes revealed), but on the left hand, the matter of who uncovered the emails! In this way, they think slyly, the actual crimes can be made to disappear. (Not a chance.)

By now the Democrats have convinced their zombie-like followers that Hillary was a saint of some sort, even though I can confirm that the spinster left were advising each other on Facebook to “just hold your nose and vote for her!” (When I say spinster I don’t just mean the chronically unmarried. I also mean the married who look at the world through the lens of a spinster.) They had the demographics all sewn up, every single  miserable sub-group created from the minds of drug-addled ideology-fueled and sexually deviant leftists to enable a firmer grip on those votes. They had the money, money, money. They had Wall Street and financiers, to whom Hillary had already sworn her open fealty. They had a Machine and it was mean and dirty. Nothing was too low for the Hillary campaign and one of the low-lights was when they aired Trump’s raunchy comments to an aspiring starlet, who know doubt loved a little grabbing if it would only get her ahead of the game, and another no-doubt filthy mouthed Hollywood type. It seemed so obvious to me that the black hat was worn by Hillary, who put private stuff out to all the sweet little girls and boys in America. But no. It was Trump’s sin to be a guy, not hers to be a tattle-tale. In the end, the Dems had everything but the allegiance of the voters.

My advice to Democrats: It is time to stop acting like the uneducated, undemocratic, small-minded mob you lefties are, cry-babies and autocrats who want your way every day and don’t think any punishment is too harsh for your deplorable opponents. I am SO GLAD you dictatorial idiots lost this election that truly, there are no words to express it.

You ought to just get on with whatever it is you guys do while the rest of us work. But you aren’t going to let a crisis that doesn’t even exist go to waste — no, you are going to create a crisis, if you can, and then exploit it. So since you lost fair and square, job number one is to make the public think, hey…NO, WE DID NOT  LOSE FAIR AND SQUARE! Since you were fabulously unsuccessful in even raising a plausible case of fraud and ended up thrown out on your ear in Michigan, what else is left to you? Here’s an idea: blame the Russians. Play that card and play it as hard as you can.

The Russians, thanks to US hysteria, have acquired global stature as Super State: a state totally controlled by one man who actually manipulates every electoral system around the world, and according to the left is now set on unseating Merkel through fake populism! The fact that Merkel invited in a million Arab Muslims of unknown origin has nothing to do with it! Everything negative that one might think of the Democrats (losers, arrogant, liars, cheats, creeps) can be deflected and explained away with a single word: Putin. Who could ask for anything easier to explain your extraordinary fall from grace?

I just watched former Gov. Bill Richardson from New Mexico telling us with a straight face that both the DNC and RNC were hacked, which is only half true. He hastened to add, “I think Trump would have won anyway” — but, but, but and from there the lies abounded. It doesn’t matter to him that he is so distorting the truth that it is a lie, because the truth is highly malleable to a “progressive.” Here’s an example: when the Russians were among the captive peoples of the Left in the Communist USSR, and were being oppressed and suppressed and sent off to the Gulag, the American Left adored Russia. Simply Adored Russia, a la John Reed (Reds). Now the same folks hate, Simply Hate Russia, which is no longer, of course, a socialist/communist (Democrat) party. No longer being idolized, it is suitable fodder as a scapegoat.

The bottom line: these guys would do anything to retain power. All their anti-democratic methods they learned at the knee of Vladimir Lenin, whose victory laid Russia low for almost a century. But the essential evil encapsulated in Marxism still lives in the bosom of the Democrat Party. They still want to be the Vanguard, and they still want the rest of us to be the useful idiots and The Masses. A lie is as good as the truth. The destruction of everything that has sustained us is okay, as long as it serves the ultimate purpose of their own power. If they had had four more years to open our borders to the deluge of uneducated and impoverished Latinos (and whoever else they brought with them), they could have totally subverted our electoral system. If they have to pitch the country into chaos for the right to name the upcoming four Supreme Court justices, not a problem. So don’t expect these fools to shut up. These people could have formed the “civilian army” that Obama so longed for to off-set the despised US military. Count your blessings and put in the ear-plugs.

Jigsaw Puzzles: The US Putting in the last Piece

I have been hammering away at this theme for a long time now and my instinct tells me we are near endgame (in so many ways). US “foreign policy strategists” have walked our government through the paces necessary to bring America to a point where we Americans might be duped into going for forced regime change in Syria. (For those growing up on Jupiter: this used to be called invasion and occupation). There was an essential miscalculation of timing here. Far too long passed between when our government began mulling over another war in Syria and the present, when our country’s entire complex of war hawks have congregated around the vile Mrs. Clinton like vultures. Into the abyss of opportunity lost fell our advantage. Russia saw the need, saw the challenge and took the chance. On all fronts, the signs are of WWIII, with an arrogant US demanding Russia and Syria and Iran kneel. It ain’t gonna happen. I’m not going to get into China and affronts to its power within its region. And then we come to “what next?”

Americans are afraid and they should be. Just imagine that every person we have killed by drone, direct invasion, proxies or bombs at 35,000 feet springs up into a family of 30 or 40 or 400 who wish the US active harm. That’s a lot of hate and revenge.

The Russians have a right to both fear and be mad at Islamist murderers, who not that ago took over an elementary school and murdered hundreds of persons in Russia. Then there was the jihadist take-over of the Moscow theater where the hit musical “North-West” was playing. In the house there were the young, the old, the rich, the poor, the good and the bad. When the Russians decided that the people wearing suicide bombs might be nearing the end of their physical resistance and the moment when the bombs would go off, the Russians used a gas to subdue them. Then they sent in their own Spec Ops teams to kill each and every terrorist, male and female, where they lay snoozing next to knocked-out hostages. Unfortunately, as a German doctor interviewed told one news outlet, in order to insure that not one adult terrorist survived to trigger a device, it was inevitable that those taking the theater would sacrifice the very young and the very old and ill. Russia had a hard choice to make and Russia made it. It always does.

The same thing happened in Syria, where Russia was not itching to get into a fight. But just as the rest of us did, the Russians wondered what the hell was going on when the US was inert in the face of growing ISIS power and control of territory. Why wasn’t the US, up to its eyeballs in the Syrian civil war, going after ISIS and its affiliates and those of Al Qaeda in that country? ISIS was stealing oil and shipping it through Turkey to finance its operations; Turkey did nothing. It got a commission. The US did  nothing. All they wanted was to weaken Assad. Screw the rest of the issues. It wasn’t until Russia made public the aerial footage of the oil convoys heading to the Turkish border that the US decided it had to act or tell the truth regarding its intentions. Today it brags how stalwart it is against ISIS. Believe it at your peril.

Now thanks to Mr. Assange (note for future historians: a genuine and early global political prisoner. end note.) and Wikileaks  we know that in 2006, our hero GW Bush was being advised by a lot of the same folks who are now advising Hillary Clinton on the subject of how to undermine Assad and the stability of Syria via sabotage, infiltration and subterfuge. The advisers have all been big shots in the USG and players in the military-industrial complex.

Anybody out there, if somebody tries to tell you Russia should be before a Human Rights Tribunal because of Syria, you refer them to that fact. It was the US that started the Syrian civil war for its own dirty purposes long before the visible results appeared. Russia is only there because the US is totally lost in its own corruption and unable to guide the world. The Russians are the single most important factor in the beating back of ISIS in Syria, in which the US has played chiefly a negative role through our arming and training and support of terrorists. “Alt-terror.”

So, here’s where we are. The US is getting tired of the upstart Russia, with Iranian help, blocking US power in Syria. It wants done. How will it do it? Enter: human rights charade. Aleppo is just the ticket. Russia Today (RT), the most hated of media outlets due to its enormous global popularity and its willingness to disclose the dirt hidden away by our governments, reports that eastern Aleppo doesn’t house just innocent civilians, but a whole slew of American-backed terrorists (Al Nusra) using these people as human shields. But the US does not consider going after Al-Nusra to be a priority per Admiral James Kirby aka diplomatic spokesperson. They want to go after Assad. But dang, the “bad guys” are using their lawful power in the UNSC to block the US from another war.

Ah-ha. Go to the bogus UN human rights committee, which has no veto power, and get a resolution calling what Russia is doing an “atrocity” and a “human rights catastrophe.” Outlaw any action in Aleppo, where the US can’t win, but hopes to carve out an area of operations from which to launch further actions against Assad. Hey, isn’t that what the international legal system is for? That’s what the federal legal system is for in the US.

I’m sure it’s all ho-hum by now. We have an election on hand with the choices being Dopey or the Evil Queen.

I always loved Dopey.

Vote the War Party! Vote Hillary!

I am largely resigned to all the things that I fear are to come. These start with an effective one-party takeover of the USG, the rewriting of all laws and rules (including those governing changes to the Constitution) to make them ideologically correct, and legislative and judicial branches marching in step with the Executive in foisting on us a State Political Philosophy. The processes already begun by the left will go at a faster pace — from the spread of mandatory unionism to vast State control over the media (including and especially the internet), from mandatory voting to suppression of religious expression. There will be no demurring from the State position, as both the legislature and the judiciary will be firmly under the control of the far left. Ruth Bader Ginsberg could give you a lecture on how “n’sync” the lefties on the Supreme Court are with the world’s progressives. These new justices don’t care if you know they have already decided cases not before them, just as the faux journalists don’t care if you call them propagandists. Biased, and proud of it!

The other worry that I fear will be realized is that a Clinton presidency would lead to heightened conflict and even war with Russia, in Syria certainly and perhaps in Ukraine, as well. The USG has already trained and armed Kiev’s special forces who only recently tried to infiltrate saboteurs into the military facilities in Crimea, in the course of which they lost their lives. The US and Kiev of course denied it all, calling it a provocation by Russia. The incident ratcheted up tensions in eastern Ukraine, with Russia’s proxies fighting the US proxies; and it also expedited Moscow’s delivery of state-of-the-art anti-air systems and other sophisticated military hardware to the peninsula. Like it or not, Russia owns Crimea and within a few short years, it will be a major military port bristling with all sorts of armament and technology. Anybody who plans to wage battle in the Black Sea should be prepared for total war.

Kiev’s provocations, just like those of Georgia, are oil poured on an already volatile situation. And it is this kind of reckless behavior that the US is encouraging and facilitating. (I still think the Georgian president was nudged to take action in S. Ossetia by the American military.) Our course is fraught with danger, but it does not deter the unholy alliance of the neocons and the corrupt Clinton camp in pushing for Ukraine membership in NATO. After all, it was her husband who made the fateful decision to enlarge NATO, why should she not be the one that takes it right to Moscow’s doorstep and over it into war? Expect Mrs. Clinton to deepen US-Ukraine military collaboration in ways that are directly threatening to Russian national security and, as a result, to our own.

In Syria, rumor has it that Madame’s first order of business will be to undertake regime change, Russia be damned. If this is true, we should all take to the streets to make our strenuous disagreement palpable. (But it won’t happen.) Russia is not going to back down even in the face of NATO aggression (and of course there will be no UNSC resolution legitimizing US aggression). Moscow will reinforce its military at Latakia and increase its air sorties. The Syrians have already given Russia use of a second base, and now the Chinese are getting more involved, as well. They will be working overtime to bring under the control of Damascus as great a swath of Syrian territory as possible, bombing anything that moves and that includes Americans. It would then be a shooting war.

Hillary Clinton wants a war. She wants to pull off a victory somewhere, this American cowgirl, that would dwarf anything Obama did. Alas for all of us, the places that are easy to bomb and take over with proxies have already been bombed and taken over. They are the rubble you see strewn across the Middle East. What remains are the nations that created nuclear arsenals precisely to prevent an aggressor from attempting, directly or indirectly, an assault on their sovereignty. Those nations include China and Russia and (probably) Iran, all regional powers that have resisted US dominion and demands. In the real world, one would think, “how can we reconcile our needs and interests so as to avoid war?” But I don’t think Hillary operates in the real world. She operates wherever it is that she communes with Eleanor Roosevelt.

And how could I not mention that weasel-faced jerk Mike Morrell, formerly of the CIA and now a Hillary adviser. (This is a good fit, as both the CIA and Hillary Clinton absolutely require that employees have the ability to lie glibly and sell any story as the truth.) Morell formerly condemned Hillary for such negligence in handling of classified information that he was absolutely certain the illegally-used server had been hacked by multiple sources. Now he thinks she’d be a steady hand at the helm. Of course, here’s what Morell thinks about icing our supposed foes and actual rivals:

“What they need is to have the Russians and Iranians pay a little price,” Morell said. “When we were in Iraq, the Iranians were giving weapons to the Shia militia, who were killing American soldiers, right? The Iranians were making us pay a price. We need to make the Iranians pay a price in Syria. We need to make the Russians pay a price.” Morell said the killing of Russians and Iranians should be undertaken “covertly, so you don’t tell the world about it, you don’t stand up at the Pentagon and say ‘we did this.’ But you make sure they know it in Moscow and Tehran.”

Judge for yourself. Who is a greater danger to continued life on the planet? Donald Trump who wants to collaborate with Russia to defeat ISIS in Syria; who wants to toss that disastrous Utopian fantasy, nation-building, overboard; who thinks that conflict is the last resort, not the first? Or a woman who has surrounded herself with the worst of the war hawks and the military-industrial complex, in which the lackey Morell is but a small cog? The latter group is drooling at the chance to go to war against Russia, and I predict they will try a two-prong approach in both Syria and Ukraine. I think they are incredibly thick and arrogant and I also think they are extremely dangerous. Thanks to the Dems and the GOP elite, both in bed with the war industrialists, we have a military so light and fast that it can destroy anything. What we don’t have is a competent diplomatic corps, a wise or truthful government, or any clue what the hell we are doing. How many countries do we have to destroy and leave destroyed for decades to come before we come to our senses?

Trump needs to push Clinton on her plans for Syria, and ask whether the rumor of a planned January 2017 war against Assad is correct. He needs to press her on her plans for further expansion of NATO. He needs to demand to know what weaponry has been shipped to Ukraine and what training we are providing. He needs to ask if the US military or NATO military are advising Ukraine on its military provocations against Russia. He needs to expose all the corrupt ties between certain Democrats and the Ukrainian US-imposed regime. These are all critical matters and the Psychopathic Liar should not be allowed to skate without warning us what she has up her sleeve.

It’s Official: United States is a Banana Republic!

I am still in shock. That bastard Comey has declared Hillary Clinton NOT a criminal even though she deliberately and for four consecutive years left all the communications from the Secretary of State open to (his opinion) likely hacking by enemies of this country. I would bet my entire pension that Vladimir Putin and the guy in charge of China read Mrs. Clinton’s emails while on the bathroom throne. And then use the record for something else.

Let’s repeat  it for the record: this decision by Comey came on the heels of a meeting between the Attorney General, his boss — the one who wants to hunt down legal US gun owners and anyone who is mean to Islam — and that old El Corrupto, Bill Clinton. It was supposed to be a secret meeting on the tarmac, two private jets belonging to the Power Set, where whispers were exchanged — no photos! no microphones! — but alas, the conspirators were discovered and while those of us sick at what is happening in this country fumed at this meeting, the AG reacted as if it was all a big ho-hum. So, you caught us in another act of blatant corruption, big deal. Who cares? Of course, if only I could do it all over again…

Did Obama ever even say a peep about this tryst on a tarmac? Don’t think so. But I think I discern behind all these egregious actions a giant middle finger, the dark brown of someone half Kenyan and the other half “One Hundred Percent Global,” floating on the horizon. I can’t wait to see the next thing Obama does to offend our country’s good people before his big ass is bounced onto the pavement. He thinks this is a big ha-ha, I guarantee you. In fact, the theme of Obama’s eight years of destroying America is “Who cares?” Who cares about the Constitution, who cares about the law, who cares about opposition, who cares that I am totally bought and sold and corrupt and stupid? — where is that brilliant historian who will write this for us, that biography of Obama called, Who Cares? (co-authored with George Soros).

Back to the total posturer, Jim Comey. In recommending no criminal or other charges against the offending Clinton, he chose to ignore:

— all those thousands of deleted emails — official USG communications being sent on an unauthorized server, an insecure server, known to be such to key officials of the US Department of State — that Mrs Clinton unilaterally decided to withhold from official archivists and then destroy. What was in them? How do they know? Destruction of even one document is grounds for felony charges;

— the fact that even people working for an outside organization, the Clinton Foundation, were allowed access to this insecure email server, which transmitted many highly classified items of information;

— the fact that it is accepted by all hackers that the Clinton private server was hacked, giving all sorts of people access to classified information.

— the fact that the CIA said it was certain she was hacked.

How can Comey say, “but don’t anybody else do this henceforth, or else!” and still absolve her? Isn’t that prima facie evidence of special consideration? Is this Corruption writ large, or what? It is so shameful, that I can really say today, “For the first time in my  life, I am not proud to be an American.”

Can you believe that we bomb countries because they have a corrupt judicial system?

I could go on, but it is making my blood pressure soar. I was under FBI escort and spent about 3 and a half hours in actual interrogation at FBI HQ because of an unfounded (and unproven) rumor spread by a Cuban KGB guy, who actually seems to have been pointing to another woman in the Consulate. Gen. Petraeus told a US military vet (his lover) with a security clearance information she shouldn’t have had and the Obama Administration turned him over (after secretly recording his trysts, no doubt) for public roasting. Jim Comey thought Petraeus, unlike Mrs. Clinton — a serial offender — deserved a sentence.

But Jim Comey didn’t get to be head of the FBI by being a straight arrow. A friend of mine called Comey that weeks ago; something niggled in the back of my head saying “Comey is a political stooge” and I said so. Now my niggling sense was proven right. How sad.

The combination of all these events is like a crown on an administration that has gloried in all the things they have destroyed: marriage (dead); the US military (queerified and beyond); US borders — huh?; US foreign policy — the bombing begins in 5 minutes.  Now, in addition to the EPA and IRS gestapo, we have the usual gestapo, the FBI, but now a truly State Gestapo.

Folks. I frankly think it’s too late to recover any foundation for our country. We are fragmenting into ever smaller pieces while at the same time, our government grows larger.  Our rights are disappearing and the idiots who vote, many many of them, favor that direction. Give us bread. Give us a roof no matter how humble. Open the borders and let love reign supreme. Tell us how to think and live. This is the New America and who better to be that bridge than the Clintons?

My husband is reading this so I have a message for him: maybe not Costa Rica, but where?

Trump Reworking His Approach; Hillary can too say Radical Islam, she told us she can.

How can the GOP ever hope to again win the presidency when it is led by self-righteous mugs like Paul Ryan and unprincipled schmoozers like John Boehner and the desperate, like Kirk in Illinois who thinks he might win his seat again by abandoning his Party’s presidential candidate and acting like a Democrat. To crib from the toad-like Madeleine Albright, any center-right (educated) voter who who puts an “x” by the name of Hillary Clinton (or does not vote for Trump) is a traitor. That isn’t how Ryan feels, of course. Instead of whipping up the Party’s voters, he offers a less-than-tepid endorsement of Trump and then gives his papal blessing for all the rest of the GOP leaders and voters to “vote your conscience.” Since he has already on more than one occasion told us how morally repugnant Trump is, I think the statement was loaded.

Trump has now dumped his faithful campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski. It was a good, if belated, move. I guess old Corey did right by Trump in the primaries, but he’s not the man for the big picture. Trump needs a tough guy managing him, not some super-loyal yes-man who runs things the way Trump feels like running them on any given day. I think Paul Manafort can do the job. The “do it or I quit” ploy was perfect for Trump, who thinks the same way.

Everybody is dead sure that Trump isn’t going to be able to rise to the presidential level during this campaign season. A lot of Republicans are sadly gloating over that. I myself predicted this predicament. How does a man who comported himself in an almost vaudevillian way during the primary season, playing it broad for  audience guffaws, “pivot” to a Ronald Reagan? I personally think it can be done, but he has to have that fire in his belly for the presidency or he is likely to ham it up all the way to defeat in November. Manafort knows they are under the gun. I bet if Trump proves unable to respond to direction, Manafort will quit, too. Well, this observer wishes Trump well. At this point, it really all rests with him. Can he articulate what are mostly sensible ideas to address huge problems?

Hillary is no longer speaking of an FBI security review of her use of a private and insecure server while Secretary of State (and acts of corruption related to the Clinton Foundation). Seems that security reviews are a non-existent FBI critter. She seems to have accepted that what this is is an actual FBI investigation that, if not thwarted, could lead to a serious prison term. (At last.) On the other hand, Hillary also seems preternaturally calm about the outcome of the FBI criminal investigation. asserting it will come to naught. So I say to myself, the fix is in, isn’t it? When Comey says, here you go Mr. President, we recommend an indictment, Obama is going to say, bury it, right? If that happens, I await with bated breath the one person in the FBI who will stand up and scream bloody murder. I am thirsting to hear some heroism from the FBI and revelations from the Democrats’ version of John Dean. If Hillary Clinton gets off, is cleared of all the crimes she has committed, or if the indictment is held until after the elections, Clinton wins. That means, I am convinced, curtains for the GOP at a national level and for the American political system most of us grew up with. The GOP will fragment into four or five small parties led by weirdos like Gary Johnson, while the president continues the push to the far left of socialism. We will for the first time have all three branches in more or less permanent possession of a single party, and voila! We have the One Party State with the kinds of draconian controls we see in California. I do not doubt that Clinton will do all she can to diminish the US Constitution and individual rights in favor of ever greater State intervention in personal lives. And don’t even think about taxes.

And as an aside — have any of you noticed that there is a nasty spirit of envy and spite loose in this land? It reminds me of Leningrad in the 1980s, where people wrote letters to the editor of state-owned media outlets complaining about others who, having no chance at a cheesy Lada automobile. would deliberately damage the Ladas others had waited years to get. This is the Muse of the left-wing movement in America that senses the chance, having subverted several generations of children, to make the US the USSR. I notice a sort of virus among the State Department retirees, some of whom actually decried the communists of the USSR, who have gleefully catupulted themselves into the avowed socialist camp and have given their allegiance to Clinton. In every society where socialism has triumphed, it is the privileged class who promote the change. Of course, they assume they will be among the elite enjoying all the luxuries that arise from curtailing everybody else’s fundamental liberties. And a high-ranking position or a cushy ambassadorship are nothing to sneeze at. Under any system.

Even if she has now grudgingly conceded that the mobilization of the FBI isn’t merely to double-check State Department security rules, Clinton isn’t using the term “criminal investigation” just as she still isn’t using the term radical Islam. She crossed saying radical Islam off her “to do” list when she told us she was willing to say “radical Islam.” But I don’t think we will hear more of radical Islam from her corner, since she coupled her enunciation of the taboo words with the judgment that it was name-calling. So I expect that the term radical Islam will only escape her lips in phrases intended to portray Donald Trump as “dangerous” because he is a name-caller. There is just so much stuff Clinton has done in the foreign policy field that adds up to either to a big fat zero, or that was wrong and dangerous, that I am amazed she is using foreign policy skills as the standard for judging presidential abilities. And most recently she is attacking Trump’s business morals. Oh, puh-leeze. This woman never made a business transaction in her life that wasn’t dirty. And Crooked. Let’s hope Trumps gives us plenty of details of Clinton’s lack of judgment and moral courage and her use of power to garner money into her own private coffers, The Clinton Foundation. If he throws in all those dirty deals, even better.

Get your ducks in a row, Donald. Hit back hard and with carefully considered words. You will have a real shot at winning if you can maintain that Trump appeal to the New Rebels of today’s America and still make sense to the rest of the country, if you can get a good grasp on the major issues of the day and craft a message that fits the situation. And if you can use every scrap of dirt on Hillary to remind the country just how scummy she is. Unlike Ryan, I’m rooting for you.

“We Came, We Saw, He Died!” Is this Woman Temperamentally Fit to be President?

Mrs. Clinton has decided to dwell relentlessly on Donald Trump’s dangers to world peace and order. She says everybody in the world is worried, and they might be. The US might not be footing NATO’s bills come January 2017. That’s scary. And maybe it will be looking to get out of certain defense treaties that are no longer to our benefit. Perhaps it will shut down our borders, making it very very difficult for an uninvited person to get in (and shutting down the entrance to the Democrat Party Illegal Voting bloc). Maybe it will refuse to sign international agreements that will strangle us, put together by Utopianists. Maybe it will put TPP in the toilet where it belongs.

On the other hand, with Trump that’s all a guessing game, which makes it okay even if Mrs. Clinton claims Trump would unleash herds of pigs on any Muslims crossing the border. Whereas about Mrs. Clinton, there is no need to guess what fitness she possesses to be US president. Let’s review her supposed assets.

She lies incessantly, not very creatively, but persistently. She lies even when everybody in the world knows she is lying. She repeats lies proven to be lies. She even had the gall to lie to the families of the men who died in Benghazi thanks to Hillary’s foreign policy skills and moral courage, telling them it wasn’t her fault, it was some crazy Egyptian’s fault. Then she had the gall to suggest it was the families who were lying. People who behave in this way aren’t just amoral, they are psycopaths. Is this kind of woman fit to be president?

She is venal and corrupt. She has engaged in a slew of shady transactions all the way back to Arkansas (there wasn’t much opportunity at Yale). She turned a thousand into a hundred thousand in practically minutes, and she reputedly did the same kind of magic south of the border for sums unknown. She said she was “dead broke” when she left the White House to move into her New York manse and today she is extraordinarily welathy. Yet she hasn’t held a job outside US government, aside from a brief stint in a corrupt law firm in Arkansas. Is this kind of woman fit to be president?

She has dreadful foreign policy judgment. Both as a senator and then as Secretary of State, she was among the most belligerent, first supporting and then urging war against countries not at war with us. She is the female counterpart of John McCain, keen to resort to the use of force to prove her military prowess. She did, indeed, crow about Qaddafi’s death and she owns one hundred percent the situation in Libya and the disaster at Benghazi. She also has to somehow make up for that pitiful gaffe when she pushed the Russian “reset” button that actually read “overload,” as the Russsian Foreign Minister pointed out to her before the world. She will be looking for a chance to show Putin how manly she is, despite her poor Russian. She will also be wide open to making that one last drive to “cordon off” Russia by NATO, which means invitations to Ukraine and probably Finland and Sweden and who knows, maybe even those crazy ‘Stans. This would be the flashpoint for another major armed conflict. Is this the woman we want in the White House?

Hillary Clinton has demonstrated clearly that she does not hold herself to be ruled by the laws of this country. She showed us what she thinks of the law when she ignored security regulations in the US Senate and used her private emails to carry out all her business, and then when she bypassed the US Department of State’s security regulations by working via her own private server. All of her explanations have been demonstrably and demonstratedly false: that she had Department authorization (she did not), that the highly classified information “wasn’t marked” (irrelevant and expressly so), that she never ever discussed classified material through that server, that she only got mixed up because she was too inept to use two different email systems, and so on. She does admit that she’s awfully sorry she did that silly thing, and if only she could re-do it! If she got in the White House, what do you think would happen with the FBI investigation files — they’d disappear is what they’d do. Along with a whole lot of other stuff. Oops. Is this the kind of person you  want executing the laws of this land?

I only wish I could have a couple of hours to sort through the FBI investigation files. They must cover such a far-flung empire of corruption and influence peddling that the minds of even those law enforcement geniuses must be boggled. I wonder what country names pop up, what despots appear, and what sums of money are involved in all the shell games. And I know for sure that I don’t want those sticky-fingered, dirty people back in the White House.

I know that some lunatics like Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan think Donald Trump is a danger to the world, but remember this. Both come from socialist backgrounds. They’re far more comfortable dealing with a corrupt socialist than with a prickly and unpredictable Trump. But for me, someone who never wanted Trump, there isn’t any competition. Hillary wins the Master of Corruption and Untruth pageant hands down. Trump can’t come close on those grounds. So Mrs. Clinton, while you’re crafting visions of Armageddon under Trump, tell us about your plans for NATO and for US missiles and for US entrapment in more defense treaties. Tell us what you plan to do up there on Russia’s borders and what you will do when Russia begins to retaliate against what it sees as enemy forces. Tell us your plans for China and those stupid rocks in the South China Sea. And then let Americans judge who is the greater danger to world peace — you or Mr. Trump.

The Besieged Mrs. Clinton and Other Good News

Hillary Clinton is in very very deep doo-doo. The FBI has stumbled across something in those unsuccessfully “disappeared” Clinton e-mails that apparently perked them up enough to open a second investigation into the Clinton Foundation. This Foundation is gaining an ever seamier reputation for its corrupt practices, such as using the power of the Secretary of State to secure massive donations all available to the Clintons for their felonious use. I’d love to be the forensic accountant tracing donations to the Global Slush Fund. And tracking outflows from the Foundation to other entities, perhaps in a way that made a trace hard. It’s pretty clear that the Foundation they set up is intended to pad the financing of Hillary Clinton’s run for the presidency, giving her enough non-traceable funds to make the difference between victory and defeat. This would be the much more clever and invisible version of the “small donations from abroad” scam that heavily financed Obama’s catapult to the presidency. Apparently the FBI is trying to untangle those intertwining parts, connecting the dots in the Clintons’ influence-buying game.

If the Foundation is in trouble, I’d imagine our pal Bill isn’t sleeping any easier than his homely wife.  It couldn’t happen to two nicer people. I was looking at photos of the two and thinking: he looks pretty bad these days. Bill’s red nose is starting to look absolutely natural in that landscape of aging skin as he tries desperately to recapture his glib, sexy rock-star days. And Hillary is, despite her surgical work, still an ugly old white woman. And an unlikable one at that. If their offer is two for one, I think they’ve lost the youth vote.

Now to the GOP side. Here the waters are murky indeed. Trump seems to be cycling into some sort of a mania, saying really nutty things like he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and none of his supporters would care. That sounds a lot like he is calling his supporters insane, or criminally inclined, or just stupid. It also sounds a lot like he himself is losing all touch with reality. Now the utterly inexplicable decision not to participate in the debate because of Megyn Kelly’s alleged hatred of and bias toward him. Unlikely excuse and if it’s sincere, he’s a fool. Who gives him the absolute right to pick his interlocutors? If he can’t deal with hard questions, he’s not going to win any national election. Enough with his demonizing anybody who questions him. We already have had this kind of president and we don’t want another one. Worse, he now begins again and in capital letters to look like the circus clown, performing and un-serious. I think he may be faltering under the enormous pressure on him. He seems to be spinning out. But the tragedy is that if he isn’t chosen, he could try to take down the GOP with him. A suit against Cruz on the basis of his US citizenship? Hey, Donald: we already had a guy born in Kenya and raised in Malaysia as president, so don’t worry about the Canadian angle. They speak the same lingo, more or less.

Trump’s unpredictability and political wildness raise the possibility or even likelihood that the money men and the ruling Republican elite will unite behind some other candidate deemed able to beat whomever the Democrat Socialists nominate. I still think Rubio is the likeliest candidate. He has all the qualities to be a star candidate and in particular to dance rings around either of the Golden Agers being run by the Democrat Socialists. He could best either of them in a debate. I think he could get a lot of the Latino vote, especially among the girls. But Ted Cruz is also excellent. My favorite Rand Paul isn’t going to get close to the nomination, but he’d be great.

And back to Mrs. Clinton and the question of the day: is it okay to run a person for president when said person is rumored to be headed to indictment for her security breaches? The Socialists of course say “yes,” as long as the felon is not yet found guilty. And of course if elected, there’s that presidential immunity thing. So she could easily bury the whole thing during her first tenure as Madame President. The rumor is rampant that she is going to be indicted for something related to all her electronic and other misbehavior. I think that the FBI is ready, but it is Obama who will decide if the weapon is turned against the Clintons. So far Obama has allowed the FBI to dig and make the Clintons’ lives agony. The unknown is this: at what point is  he  going to call off the dogs? At what point is he going to say, make it go away? Or perhaps a presidential pardon? That would be rich for that boy Obama with his thin black skin. Now Obama has all the power. Will he use it? After all, Bernie Sanders really is his true alter ego, on whom Obama could count to continue pushing his agenda.

On to foreign policy, where things look as lousy as usual. In Germany, women were harassed and worse on New Year’s Eve as they attempted to celebrate. “North African or Middle Eastern looking men” in large numbers joined up to engage in a female-baiting sport and so far Germany’s leaders have done little more than gasp and wring their hands. In Sweden, assaults by the Arab community against the peace-loving native Swedes, including young women, is rising. It is so serious that the peace-loving PM is warning that “in coming years” up to 80,000 self-declared refugees are to be sent home. The Arab/North African inundation is having serious political ramifications in Europe. Nationalist governments may be in the offing, for example in Netherlands where Geert Wilders could be the next top dog. In the security realm, trust is no longer abundant. Individual nations are now reasserting their own border defenses in violation of the Schengen agreement on open borders. This will likely set off a chain reaction, because who can afford NOT to have such controls when the others do? It’s a new era for the EU and it will struggle to survive. All these ugly results from Merkel’s warm outreach to the million Moslem refugees she invited to Germany and the rest of Europe spell likely doom for her government.

In Russia, that nation ended a year of real and painful economic belt-tightening due to EU sanctions, but forged ahead to make Crimea energy-independent from Ukraine and otherwise integrate the region into the Russian Federation. Russia also is moving ahead with the creation of three new military divisions on its western border to counter the NATO build-up in Eastern Europe. Anti-Americanism is at an all time high. Russia’s xenophobia is now in full swing, thanks to US/EU ineptitude in foreign policy.

Turkey continues to deal in stolen Syrian and Iraqi oil and to act as a transfer point for radicals entering Syria to defeat the last secular government in the region. The US continues to cover up Turkey’s crimes while still trying to get them to close their border to the ISIS-facilitated influx of foreign fighters. On the other hand, how much do we want them to close that border if they simply say no and don’t even get their hands slapped?

Jockeying for political talks to end the fighting in Syria continues. The Russians rejected US “opposition fighters” as allies of ISIS and Al Qaeda, but a compromise has been agreed to allow two separate opposition delegations: one made up of actual Syrians who oppose Assad and took up weapons; and the Syrian Kurds. The Turks don’t want the Syrian Kurds involved in the negotiations. I think this is going to be one of those inane political soap operas that go on while in the background the US tries to unseat Assad by proxy force in the face of Russian and Iranian military opposition to that goal.

All in all, it looks to be an interesting year, with both the domestic and international political arenas in full action and the balance of power teetering among a whole host of competing nations. Rocky waters ahead.

End of Year Thoughts

First thought: in just one year we will be bidding an adieu, not fond at all, to Obama and his Politburo. It gives me some spiteful pleasure to watch this comical fraud dwindle in significance as his lame duck period marches on and he amuses himself by giving Americans the finger over and over. Because make no mistake, each and every one of his actions in these last days is a finger to America, just as all his “major achievements” were. Thank God for term limits.

I think Obama’s determination to diminish US Second Amendment rights could be a critical moment in US history. There could be a very powerful backlash. He is also fanning the flames of racial hatred, with his incessant race-baiting and conveyance of the message that “whitey’s lives don’t matter.” Americans really hate Americans these days, and I’m speaking personally as well. When I hear someone moaning about discrimination I just tune out. Who cares. I’m so tired of the left and their incompetence and arrogance. Lefty go home!

In San Bernardino, a massacre crying out for the world to recognize it as act of Islamic terrorism, was instead treated gingerly and with great circumspection by Dopey. He told us, knowing how angry we all would be, that it remained to be seen if the act was one of domestic terrorism or just workplace violence (à la Fort Hood). He also sicced his lapdog Loretta Lynch on us with a a warning not to go persecuting the Moslems in America or face persecution.

Maybe Obama hoped to convince us that the rude jibes of the terrorist’s coworkers at a (gasp) Christmas party were the real trigger for the actions of an offended man who just happened to be Moslem. But then the FBI found the gun arsenal the loving couple was pulling together, and the couple’s murderous plans and their allegiance to radical Islam. Things turned south. It became impossible to pretend that Syed Farook and  Tashfeen Malik — when I hear their names I imagine a glittery duo on Dancing With the Stars — were just people driven to the edge by rudeness.

The final blow was FBI Director Comey asserting the murders were obviously terrorism, after which the President had no option but to call Comey a liar or go along with the truth. But I bet he was fuming all the while about that s.o.b. stepping in and spoiling his fun pulling the leg of the American people. The president, who as usual doesn’t change course when shown the error of his ways, is steadfastly ignoring the extreme vulnerability to terrorism of the US — with its open borders and destructive policies abroad. Instead he is regaling us with one boring speech after another that are somehow supposed to calm us down and make us see we are not in any danger or not much. How lame is that? By now I can hardly believe anybody is still tuning in when he makes another inane pronouncement from some venue that somehow is supposed to imbue him with authority and infallibility. The Pentagon. The White House Oval Office. Next it will be from atop Mt. Rushmore (he’d dearly love his ugly mug up on that mountainside).

On to other issues. I was appalled at the foreign policy positions taken by the GOP candidates at the last debate. Christie was the worst and most ignorant of them all. He seems to think he can use the same Jersey boys persona as a president that you can as a governor of…Jersey. He sets the standard for mindless Russophobia and macho posturing. First off, he can hardly set up a no fly zone in Syria, as he suggests, without first facing down Russian jets which already have a no-fly zone under the authority of the Syrian government. The Russians are within full legal rights to shoot down invading US jets (or any other foreign jets) or attack anti-government opposition troops seeded with US troops. What he is looking for and will certainly find is nuclear war. Christie’s pronouncements sound like something out of a comic book for the patriotically ill.

Pat Buchanan just wrote a column on that very subject. He assesses that there are actually three sensible GOP candidates regarding Russia and foreign policy: Trump, Paul, and Cruz. Seems Cruz actually spoke in favor of giving up this attempt to unseat Assad and suggests maybe we should work with him to defeat ISIS. That’s encouraging. Perhaps in the end common sense will prevail. Lord help us.

Perhaps Christie won’t get a chance to shoot down Russian jets in Syria. It seems the Russians scored with the recent meetings in Moscow between Kerry, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and President Putin. What resulted from this humbling petition from Washington for Moscow’s help was a whole series of cooperative steps in the UN and regarding US-Russian coordination (and perhaps cooperation) in Syria militarily. I’m pretty sure the US sought Russia’s blessing for certain anti-terrorist operations near the border with Turkey and it may have gotten it (or maybe not). Kerry had to give up US demands that Assad first go before any cooperation was possible, a critical victory for Putin and one the US hopes to paper over with a newly-passed and unanimous UNSC resolution on a ceasefire and a “roadmap to peace” in Syria. This resolution makes no mention of the ousting of Assad and instead calls for negotiations among all parties other than the terrorists toward a coalition government and holding of new elections. I can’t underscore enough how important this victory is for Russia, which took the bull by the horns and forced the US to correct its feckless and ruinous course in the Middle East.

On the other hand, it was precisely when pro-Russian Ukrainian president Yanukovich had reached an agreement with domestic opponents that would lead to near-term elections that he was overthrown in a violent coup, supported supposedly by nations such as Poland and Lithuania. So just because the US seems to have accepted that Assad must go, and Syrians must decide the fate of Syria, doesn’t mean any of that is true. Events could interfere with that peaceful outlook.

Merry Christmas. Happy Chanukah. If somebody else out there is having a religious holiday, may yours be good as well.

Is Hillary Clinton a Psychopath? Or just a chronic liar?

Well, that certainly takes the cake. Mrs. Clinton, formerly a Secretary of State, sat before a Congressional investigatory committee and lied her head off. She testified grudgingly, angrily, and self-righteously, and she lied her head off. Worse, she lied about things that everybody in this country with a scintilla of mental alertness knows she was lying about. She lied about something that video and our own memories prove she was lying about. It wasn’t like she fudged things, saying something like, “perhaps or perhaps not, I can’t recall as I was in the midst of a stroke.” No, she flat-out LIED about it.

Mrs. Clinton’s lies in her testimony were so many and so egregious that I can only touch on a few here, so let’s start with the very worst of her lies, all of them centered on Benghazi. Bear in mind that Clinton was the godmother of the bombing of Libya, the murder of Qaddafi, and the agreement to give diplomatic cover to a CIA facility for gun-running to the good terrorists in Syria. She owned everything doing with Libya. She evaporated from sight and sound when things went south in Benghazi, that snake-pit, thus suggesting that perhaps her pitiful agreement to abandon Americans under siege may have been due to her physical condition that resulted in the stroke.

Hillary Clinton told us that she never claimed that the Benghazi slaughter was a result of a video clip produced in America, a horrible hateful video clip that enraged people of the Moslem persuasion so much they just upped and spontaneously attacked a US facility of unknown purpose while carrying all sorts of deadly armaments and in the process killing a few Americans. But everybody knows she talked of it plenty of times, up until the moment the truth had been outed, when suddenly she mentions it as a terrorist act. She was clever enough to refuse to flog that lie on the networks, which work fell to the foolish Susan Rice, but she sold the story herself. Clinton claimed that she mentioned that video, but she never said (in so many words) “see, this mean-spirited video is what caused Benghazi, not my stupidity or my desire (in tandem with that of the Big O) to prevent ugly facts from dampening electoral enthusiasm in the upcoming vote.” In fact, she said that although she mentioned that video clip, it was merely a “warning” to others in the region not to try anything.

Fact: The father of one of the victims has made public his notes of his meeting with the Secretary after the deaths. He wrote at the time that Mrs. Clinton said “we’re going to arrest the filmmaker responsible for the video that caused your son’s death.” So she’s certainly lying now just as she was lying then. Not to mention that she used the arm of the law as a punishment for a man who was merely voicing his views.

Opinion: I somehow doubt that the failure of the USG to lift a finger in defense of its personnel in Benghazi would warn off any Moslem fanatic from doing the same thing, over and over and over, with great zeal. I mean, really. Only a fool or Mrs. Clinton’s fact-resistant supporters would buy such a lame story. Even Obama was cautious enough to drop the term terrorist early in the game — even if not in relation to Benghazi but to vague places around the globe.

I’m sitting here and just this instant Fox is replaying Clinton’s claim that she never denied there was an assault involved. The Congressman questioning her rightly slapped her down on that particular idiocy. Treyvon Martin jumping George Zimmerman was an assault. And she knows that too, but it all depends on what the meaning of is is. When the use of the word assault is one of the pillars of her defense, I think the case is made.

Here are some more lies she told. She said that she as Secretary of State would never dream of overriding a head of bureau’s recommendation on something like security, and she was sure no other Secretary of State would have, either. I refuse to believe for one instant that Hillary Clinton, with her degree of responsibility in Libya, would not have insisted on being fully briefed on Embassy concerns and putting in her two cents. Libya was her brainchild. Ergo, if security was denied, then ipso facto Mrs. Clinton failed to intervene in and overturn what she claims was the Department’s security consensus. I don’t believe that the Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security would have opposed the Benghazi security requests. I think this was a Hillary brainchild, but I can’t prove it. Any effort to claim that her views weren’t sought is a lie embedded in lies. It would be as if Secretary Dulles was not made aware of Embassy Moscow’s security needs during the Cold War. It would have been a case where the Secretary would indeed weigh in, were the decision contrary to his or her views on the matter. And surely the security of her dear friend Ambassador Stevens was of special importance to her? But no, she actually didn’t intervene to say, give them what they need. She deferred to her subordinate’s judgment.

One last thing that got me a little riled: her claim that she has always said she takes full responsibility for everything. I thought the Republicans did a good job trouncing her. One Republican, from Illinois, actually asked her to explain how she saw “responsibility” after one such assertion, In reply she blathered on about non-relevant things like, I was really busy, and then he called her out again. What in relation to Benghazi is your perception of responsibility? She couldn’t or wouldn’t answer the question, but it is one that I have been pondering since she dropped out of sight for about three months after the disaster in Benghazi.

It’s as if every other word that ever comes out of Hillary Clinton’s mouth is a lie. She’s so artificial it is painful and the idea of four or  more years with a woman who sounds like a braying jackass is impossible to contemplate.

And that’s the subject of another Ooobie. How the Republicans could pull out a victory. I’m not sure they have a cohesive brain anymore, so it’s going to have to be by our own efforts to see that Clinton doesn’t get her hand in the public treasury again. It is my fervent wish that all her future endeavors should involve illicit transactions in tropical countries. By the way, that Representative Brooks got a huge hurrah from me for her brilliant and spirited attack on the non-existent Clinton character. Just great.
